Over the 2 days

Good evening♡
A few days ago, I saw a photo of a Torii gate standing on a rock in the ocean,
and the caption said it is located in Ibaraki prefecture.

So I booked a hotel in Ibaraki as soon as I saw that,
and caught a bus on Friday to travel to the torii gate.
And... Nemophila, which is supposed to be in full bloom now!

My co-worker said I drew a radish right there,
well... I wouldn't argue against it,

but the things on top are supposed to be the shape of Ibaraki Prefecture and Tokyo :)

Self portrait before heading out!
Camera face

View from the rooftop...
It's so exciting to be up there!

The buildings are so short in Ibaraki!
The roads are neat and clean aren't they.

******

On the second day, I woke up at 1 in the morning.
Had a long warm bath (The best part of the whole traveling thing), got ready and headed out to capture the sunrise.

I popped outside and... saw no taxies anywhere.
So I took a train to the neighboring big station and caught a cab... (either way...)

It took a while for me to get there and I missed the sunrise... >< but
We got a lot of water splashing!

Yay! I am at the toriii!! (where?)

Ther.... there....!

Behind the splash....

Ta da!

It is really lucky for me to see and feel this massive splash anywhere I travel at all really.
There are rocky shores but you can't always get a high tide/strong wind/good timing all together.

It was just so exciting to keep pressing the shutter to the timing of the splash.

Of course it would have been much more ideal if I have arrived 10 minutes earlier but
seeing and enjoying the morning with this Torii was a great experience for me.

Plus I met this awesome girl on the rock (cliff?) and became great travel friends :)
we took photos of each other and she even drove me to my hotel!

Can't wait to travel to and around her neighborhood this year!

Another place I needed to check out beside the Torii place was the Nemophila garden,
it is the famous Nemophila garden by the shore called Hitachi Seaside park.

I enjoyed the train ride to the park too! The locomotive looking train was so cute♡

As the taxi driver said - It was full bloom on last Sunday and they are going now...
Cherry blossoms bloomed much earlier this year too, it started to get warm really early this year!

This is just my perspective though.
I am a big fan of monochrome colors, Black, White and... maybe not monochromatic but gold, and silver.
But I have been feeling that blue is the color most similar to neutral, closest to transparency.
I really liked how the hill was colored in blue so it looks like the ground is merging with the sky♡

Honestly, I thought this yellow flower was gorgeous.
But turned out I seem to be dreadfully allergic to this flower and whenever I was around them I couldn't stop sneezing and my eyes were itchy and...

How does that happen!? I haven't interacted with this flower so much in my life!
Next time I will definitely need a mask... *crying laughing emoji*

I don't know why it feels so relaxing to watch pink and red...♡
Is it because I am a girl?

Tulips were so relaxing to watch. Loved this garden♡
I needed to rush back out because of my hay fever but it was a great park!

Ibaraki prefecture was a prefecture of flower,
every season, different flowers bloom and it's so blessing.

********

I have always been a staying in my comfort zone
laying myself on the gravity kind of person.
I don't know where my current impulsive wanderlust comes from.
But I will keep seeking a place to belong, not to run away from my territory.

And I love bath♡
Onsennn! (I scream for onsen!)

Can't wait to plan the next spontaneous trip♡

Thanks for reading my blog :)

Travel guide

Hello the world!
I haven't forgetten about my blog, just that...
(I  forget the password all the time and I cannot log into this account very often),
what a horrible blogger am I!
But I feel so insecure if I set a really easy password!
So my password usually goes like G82hlx4Rdl08DaMwU38X and there is no way I can remember all of them (true story, sometimes above plus ^#$&*;+ ...).

Anyway.
I just wanted to write about how I have joined this incredible travel website Townske to write about travel guide and tips.

I haven't even written about my Kanazawa trip on here yet, but I have summerized my trip in one article and wrote about recommendation so if you are interested in the old Japanese traditional culture and traveling to the art town Kanazawa- please check it out.

I also simply write about the trips on wordpress
http://annakirishima.wordpress.com as well!
I post more photos on it, if you are interesed.

I personally have decided to go traveling once a month, or at least every second month on a weekend.
I will definitely update my Townske, blog or instagram so please stay tuned if you are interested in seeing my perspectives while traveling.

I shall be mostly traveling within Japan this year,
Most definitely traveling to - Kanagawa, Yamanashi, Hiroshima, Kagoshima,
Mie... and - Thailand. Hopefully USA too but not sure.

Really wanting to go to Cuba, and Singapore again.
Australia? Hm, if I go I won't be able ever leave there! *homesick*

Besides travel, I will be writing a lot about cafes in and outside of Tokyo.

The first Cafe article was on Harajuku - Omotesando.
I hear a lot of people traveling to Japan again this year or sometime soon.
Hopefully my blogs will be an useful information even though I am not the master of Tokyo at all.

There are certainly beautiful places in Tokyo and I would be happy for you to find out about them.
I will do big travels too this year but also will be exploring more of the Tokyo 23 wards.

I want to explore... Tennozu Isle, Iidabashi (Suidobashi, Nihonbashi),
Zoshigaya, Sumida, Shiodome, Ginza... and writing a proper guide of Yokohama ( My home town! ) again.

Kanazawa was an incredible travel destination.
I am not sure if the entire city of Kanazawa is like that or only some part of it is but
someone who has spent a long time in Kanazawa has told me that
the local people in Kanazawa hated to fight, and they knew that if they don't fight, the enemies wouldn't be invading their castle either, so they trained to perform and produce art or craft works more than fighting, but they were still worried about someone entering the castle so they made the interior of the castle like a maze.

And that's how Kanazawa has become an interesting, art and entertainment oriented city.

It was a very peaceful and laid back city.
Everywhere we went, we saw a street full of galleries and art shops.
Small city, a lot of entertainment.

Thanks for reading my blog again, I just fixed my password today so hope I can log in easily next time!

Love

Friendship

Hello dearies♡
I am supposed to be a blogger as well as an Instagrammer and I haven't blogged in ages...
I wanted my account to be safe and secure so I kept on changing the login password then I totally forgot what it ended up being and I couldn't log in my account... for a very long time :(

Finally!

Anyways, today I met up with friends I haven't seen for years!

Sweet autumn Omotesando♡
It has been really cold in Tokyo!
It's not yet hitting one digit degrees Celcius but it's... like... really cold.

There is a wedding happening at this cafe every time I come around♡
They have a long line of people waiting to get in the cafe every weekend...
Hoping to get in there someday ;)

Bacon and egg pancakes♡♡
Best combination to have on pancakes!

My friend is Japanese though she seemed to be experiencing a huge cultural difference in Japan!
At least she was happy to finally have a pasta in Japan! ^ ^

And we can never get enough of yummy food... :)

This place is in Ura-Aoyama ( hidden corner in Aoyama area ), I always knew they have an awesome affogato and they do, really.
As I say so many times, affogato is my SECOND favorite food in this world♡

We had heaps of fun, it was absolutely awesome to catch up with old friends and spend time like no time has gone by.
She was totally going emotional and saying to us how she's enjoying her time so much like she hasn't in a long time. How sweet of her!

Night in Omotesando was interesting.
I found this ESCADA with a man watching the display, Very Very interesting.

There were new stores I haven't seen opened on the main avenue.
Saint Laurent and other famous stores. Busy Tokyo. Changing all the time.

I am a person who adores black and white.
Not only for photography, but to be in also.

I feel the timeless beauty in black and white.
World has been changing, but black shadow and white light, can not be changed.

I love it.

Aww I wonder if they had a celebration♡
Love seeing happy people.

I was quite sick since a few days ago but today has totally brought me back to a life.

I have to write about this...
I have started a blog on Wordpress only writing about my art and photography journal (this blog being my lifestyle blog).

I have been painting pointillism since 12 and I have never thought once it will be appreciated by anybody.
Because it's to me just a bunch of dots forming an image, and I didn't think it would mean anything to them.

But recently, I have been told by a number of people that it is crazy and they would like to have it.
Like not just saying, they were meaning it.

I was in doubt at first but then I felt their honesty.
It has shocked me a lot, as I said, I have never thought it would hit anybody's heart in the first place.

Art is never accurate.
My dots can never be placed accurately.

There is no definition of accuracy in my art.

I paint with dots because I can't even draw a straight line if I try to.

But then, it requires a whole lot of patience.
And I had it.
That's the whole story.

It would tickle me if (hypothetically) someone said to me I was pretty.
It would make me feel shy if they said I was smart.

But if they appreciate what I make, they would mean the world to me.
It always has.

Now people are giving me the heaven and all I want to is keep creating.

It's just a whole bunch of thank you that I would like to deliver and I want to keep creating until the moment I am gone.

And my biggest wish is to have my creations living longer than I do.

I never really believe it when people say to me
"Oh you are an artist you are different, it's fiiiiine!"

I don't think I am any different to anybody, in fact, everybody is so different from each other that you can't define the standard of "being", right?

I am so right in my own way and I am being true to myself, and I am sure everybody is.
But it is the best, most blessing thing to have people accepting me for whatever hell or heaven that I am, and giving me the slighest respect.

It is just so touching that I had to write so much about this ahaha I need to keep this blog sheerly for my lifestyle diary hehe.
Anyway, it is a big part of me being an "Artist" and it is what defines what I am.
And I would like to stay connected with the beautiful welcoming world.

Thank you again and finally,
I shall be updating this blog regularly as well!

Many thanks,

Anna Kirishima

21_21 Design Sight

As I wrote on Instagram
last sunday I went to this beautiful museum in Roppongi.
With my bestie♡
Totally my #weekendgoals♡

It was genuinely an inspiring place.
I have been doing nothing but work for quite a while so..
I haven't really been interacting with artworks at all.

It was a big wake up call for me.

So white and so simple, technologies everywhere.
There are a lot of museums in Roppongi but this place now is my favorite♡

This train thing was really romantic. Was like a part of a movie.
It really engages you.

You can have heaps of fun there.
It's a small museum so I don't know if you can spend a whole day in there but
you sure would love it♡

White, my favorite world♡

This cafe was next to the museum
we popped in because it looked cute but
they had beautiful food and coffee.
And smoothie.

I need to have the smoothie next time♡

Whenever we meet we usually meet at 11 or 12 at noon and
go home at 5 or 6 ish to go home and work..

Just that 5 hours is so neccessary to us. So relaxing..

Next weekend I will be doing something else but I can see her in July again~♡

Exciting♡

Shoeholics are...

Recent purchase list...♡

As I said long ago, somebody told me before that Yves Saint Laurent does the best pink.
So I always chase after the best pink.

And when I am after pink lipsticks I always go back to YSL.

Volupte Sheer Candy
No 9♡

Blush Volupte 2 Seductrice♡

The pink on the cheek looks really natural and glowing♡

When we were young people always said people who own a lot of pairs of shoes are sexually frustrated..
Or whatever, that rumor was going around a lot.

Are they? wait, are we?

Anyway, this pair of lacy high heels from RANDA ( Japanese shoe shop ) are just wonderful.
They first felt a bit strange but they are perfectly fit now and I just wish high heels were a part of my body.

Ah we gotta love perfect high heels♡

Yokohama Walk Two

Firstly...

I have recently got Tumblr and Flickr account!

Stay connected♡

So this is the second article of Yokohama Walk♡
It might go over another one more... so many photos!

Hope someone enjoys the Japan photos♡

This is Motomachi shopping street.
Downtown-like but posh♡

This is where I come to, when I want to see the roses.
Yamashita-Koen ( Park ).

This green... aw, so soothing.

I was too late to go there but usually this place is a huge rose garden in May.

Beautiful Sunday♡
The photogenic water fountain is in the middle of the park!

Other side of the road, there are beautiful buildings.
Wedding photo~♡

Hydrangeas started to bloom....♡

The white ones are called "Annabelle" which is my favorite.
June will be an exciting month too!

It was a real hot sunny day...

And I walked back to the station.

Minatomirai Station
Amusement park!

Looks like a little town♡

Inside a shopping center~♡

Yokohama is a place where industrial things and nature meet.
I find it beautiful, there are skyscrapers and... flower blooming.
Well, surrealistic sometimes.

This summer feels♡
I want to go up to the top of that balcony! that's so cute♡

I was so, so tired after walking all around Yokohama and...
went home, realized I got so sunburnt.

Haha :( Need to be real careful this summer!

Thanks for coming by and hope my information helps♡
Please visit Yokohama when you are ever in Japan♡
